A ONE-DAY event promising to be such fun as quilters complete a quilt top using different layer cakes but the same patterns. Options include hearts, pumpkins or trees, and all are super-cute! Cost is $85 and includes a catered lunch. Here are your choices to be made:
Date: Either Monday Nov 18 or Saturday Nov 23 Both are scheduled from 8am to 6pm (or later if needed)
Layer Cake: Choose from several options in our store, including 3 or 4 Christmas lines.
Pattern: Choose either hearts, pumpkins or trees! (The pumpkin quilt is pictured below)
You can purchase fabric at the store for the inner & outer borders, plus binding and backing, or you can always add them at a later time. These fabrics are not included in the retreat price. Any wide-backs purchased the day of the retreat will benefit from a 10% discount!
Last choice is do you want to invite your friends, or make new ones!
You will need to bring these supplies: sewing machine, thread, scissors, rotary cutter & mat, ruler (2x12" minimum), template to trim blocks to 8 1/2",
and any other notions you may need (like maybe a seam ripper). You may bring a mini iron and mat if you wish - we will have one ironing station availble for use.
Snacks and bottled water will be available all day. Catered hot lunch is provided. |
